Oh dear, it’s gettin worse. More and more Photoshop disasters are happening on posters, magazine covers, and advertisements. The designers are a fault because of clumsy manipulation, senseless comping, lazy cloning, and thoughtless retouching. Not only is this embarrassing for the company, its extremely bad for the designers reputation. Good luck finding a client after a commercial mess up.

If you have ever made a mistake don’t get too down on yourself. As you will see below, even Apple messes up from time to time. We are all humans and we are bound to make natural mistakes. Next time however, learn from these people mistakes. We hope you enjoy these awful Photoshop skills!

  1. The Apple one is not a photoshop disaster!!!

  2. Ahahahah these are hilarious! Thanks so much for the share, really do appreciate these classic articles. I’ll be looking forward to your next batch 🙂

  3. Took me a while to spot on some of them, bit like spot the difference but with only one photo!

Great collection, you really have to study one or two of them!

  4. True, but they have to understand reflections better.

  5. How did some of these not get spotted before being produced? Its definitely made me feel better about making mistakes anyway. Thanks for sharing.

  6. It basically boils down to every single one of us being in such a hurry because all of our plates are overflowing. Everyone is stretched to the breaking point, because we are all trying to do the jobs of 2 or more people. Mistakes will be made.

  7. some of these are so bad. They are funny though. Thanks for sharing.

  8. That Apple one is totally fine. The logo on the bottom iPod is reflected TWICE.

  9. Check out the slide show on – for a company like Tylenol this is horrible.

  10. Great collection. 🙂

  11. I spent some extra time to spot the disaster in some pictures.Wonderful collection and really amazing spot out there..

  12. i didn’t understand most of the pictures =S

  13. This made me cry with laughter thank you lol

  14. Most are funny and easy to spot..a few (like 3) had me perplexed! Nice work.

  15. These PS photos are always fun. Makes a bad day a good one. haha

Maybe a great collection, but there is some photoshop mistakes that are not mistakes… Be careful before posting something, and analyse it yourself, and why not explaining the mistake to us… I’m disappointed about your post… And the Apple one, is not a mistake… Instead of taking mistakes from other websites, find them yourself in magazines… There are tons. And you know, making a mistake is totally human… Even more human as a graphic whose trying to do the job of 3 peoples in less then 2 hours…

  17. Igor, I think you really missed the mark with this one. Totally agree with Christine.

  18. Some Designers are sleeping at Work. Very Funny!

  19. Some of these are pretty funny. many, tho, don’t seem to be disAsters but rather serving an artistic purpose. In a few I could see no problem at all.

  20. There are so many pics here that are NOT disasters at all.. Take the little girl sledding; there’s a Christmas tree in the background on the left, so she just got one as a present and she is IMAGINING that she is sledding with it, that’s why she has naked feet – also explains the floor, the pyjama pants, etc.

    Ps. ur an idiot!

Lol, what are you talking about? Those feet are adult size, that’s the disaster. Please think next time before you say a rude comment.

  22. Given Nicki Minaj’s branding, I wouldn’t be so sure to categorize her image as a Photoshop mistake. I’d say it’s more likely that the warped legs were an intentional design choice and achieved through a combination of the photographer’s lens and angle choices along with some Photoshop. Methods aside, it is much more unlikely that any “mistakes” like this would be published onto the final product because the deadline constraints for CD packaging are nowhere near as tough as those for magazines.
