By any chance, can you remember the first watch you have ever worn? I’m not embarrassed to tell you that back in the day, I rocked the calculator watch with style. I’ll be completely honest, in elementary school I used it for one or two math tests. 
Yes it was wrong, but it made the other kids jealous of my slickness. In the end result, jealousy plays a huge roll in fashion.

Technically speaking, fashion is essentially style. Clothing, foot wear, and accessories are all big players in the industry. As humans we love to feel unique and wear things that the mass population does not own. It’s not one’s goal to think that they are better than others, as some might suggest, but instead to have the desire for variety. Yes bragging rights come into play, however that is common in any industry. Imagine if every man and woman wore the same type of clothing as their own sex. That would be terribly boring and quite depressing.
Making mistakes while discovering new concepts is part of live. Every single day people are pioneering new ideas in industrial design. Essentially this is happening in the watch industry as well. Stunning to think that something as simple as time, could look so beautifully complex. Sorry Ladies, most of the following luxury watches are intended for men.
