Take for examples retro/vintage design. It’s a very hot trend that’s widely appreciated among the design community. The same thing is bound to happen with bookcase designs.

When you think of a bookshelf the first picture your mind creates is probably a conventional rectangular shape on the wall that has books inside of it.
