Typography is the art of print. Typography is everywhere, including greeting cards, books, posters, newspapers, magazines, and any other print media. The goals of Typography are simple, it must clearly communicate the message and do so in a visually effective way. To take this further we wanted to collect some amazing examples. This is our second collection, be sure to check out our first one. We hope these examples will inspire you to create your own! We would like your feedback so comment below.

  1. most of this is (hand) lettering, not typography.

pretty cool though, makes me a bit jealous

  2. You are right, i just wanted to name the article with a general idea which in this case is typography.

  3. Igor,
    Your blog is inspiring!

And this pics are specially provocative.

  4. As mentioned by axl, this is not Typography, this is Lettering. And its general name is… Lettering.
Saying its *general* name is Typography is like saying that trigonometry’s general name is just math.
You should really change its title.

  5. Some of these are super-cool, but some are just really difficult to read…which strikes me as a bad example of lettering/typography! Though I guess that’s inspiration in itself.
