With over fifteen years of experience, Mike Campau creates powerful imagery for large brands and their high profile agencies. His specialty is hybrid imagery, which basically means the combination of photography, CGI, and retouching. Mike recently teamed up with Paul Mobley, a famous portrait photographer. The project they collaborated on is called “Celebrities.”
“Celebrities” is a book project which showcases celebrities backstage before concerts, in their homes, and at hotels while they are on the road. Prior to shooting, Paul and Mike try to come up with the most creative ideas that can portray personalities and artistic style of the celebrity at hand. Weather it’s subtle color and tone corrections or full out CGi and difficult composites, they do whatever it takes to make a captivating image.
