In a series called “Face Artists”, Andy Alcala, takes self portraits of his own face with works of iconic artists such as Warhol, Magritte, Van Gogh, Pollock, Mondrian, and many others.

“This series of images was created to show art at face value. It was also a way to put a face to the artists of many of the famous works of art that have been made. I’ve had to take a few art history courses during my time in college so I figured I would use the past as part of my future.” – Andy Alcala told WENN.com

The crazies thing about this project is that Andy actually painted his own face and then took the picture of himself. We’re sure the process is time consuming and applaud him for his dedicated work. Enjoy!
