What does a horrible web design client look like? A horrible web design client is someone who does not really know what they want. They will consistently change their mind with every new idea, new sketch, and new draft. The only way to counteract them is to be completely confident in your vision for your design.

A horrible web design client also makes it very difficult for their designer to figure out what they want. With every turn, there are more needs, more new pages to create, and more changes that need to be made. A designer should be willing to make changes, but the wise designer also knows when to draw the line and tell their client that what has already been designed is going to be the most effective version of the design.

Every designer needs to know how to handle a horrible client, and knowing the anatomy of a terrible client makes every designer’s life easier.

  1. It’s really become very difficult to handle horrible web design client. They share couple of irritating characteristics. Though they don’t have any knowledge about web design but they pretend to know about it and fail to understand the brilliance of the web designer whom they hire for the work. They won’t stop criticizing every move of the web designer and offered the least helpful advice imaginable on how they can improve their work. There’s only one good thing about a horrible web design client that is receiving payment. –

  2. Nice! thanks for the infographic. Explains a typical client to a T.

  3. Absolute truth.I remember some clients making me work drafts 10 times more than what they paid. Some wont even consider our professional advice and end up designing shit.I wonder is there any perfect business prototype to deal with this type of client.
