Really informative, it suit for my blog too. Contact with authorities of blog makes simple.

Thanks for the list, a couple I haven’t used yet, so will need to try them out.

I have always liked Contact 7 for simple forms, but more and more moving clients to Gravity Forms, no matter how many they need on their site. They are a lot more user-friendly in setting up the form, creating autoresponders, etc, and the $39 is a small price to pay.

I had been using CForms for a couple of years, but found it became very unreliable. Whether it was the actual upgrade of the plugin, or WordPress itself, it would stop working. Often times I couldn’t get it working again. And if you depend on your forms for potential clients to contact you, there is nothing worse than a form plugin to stop working without you knowing it.

Very surprised you didn’t include Formbuilder – http://truthmedia.com/wordpress/formbuilder
Far and away the best contact form I have ever used, and I use it on all 30 sites I manage.

Great collection here. For me, I’ve settled on Contact Form 7 in conjunction with the captcha plugin by the same author. I find it so elegant and easy to customise to fit the look of my sites. Super cool.

I use Contact Form 7 because it’s the only one I found with a tutorial online. All of the other contact form plug-ins I used seemed to have conflicts with my hosting (GoDaddy) in which the form won’t send because of the email settings or something.

I can attest to the ease of use and power of Gravity Forms. Have only been using them for a few weeks but I’ve found the product and service to be top notch. It does everything that I wanted with tons of automation that gives me some time back. My contributors can now fill out a form and create an easily edited post, cutting my admin time down considerably.

Gravity Forms powers my contact and submission forms. You can check them out. The power, though, lies in using the plugin once you’re inside WordPress. Small price for a single user license. Check it out today.

Thanks for the roundup. I almost always use Contact Form 7 because it’s easy enough to use – I used to prefer cforms but I’ve started liking it less.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Gravity Forms but haven’t tried it yet – maybe I will on my next project.

Do any of the plugins allow you to capture contact form requests from multiple websites and have them all store in one database?

I own/run a large blog network (400+ websites) that all relate to the same topic. I am looking for a way to add a contact form to all the websites, but then capture the leads in one place – NOT get a 1000 emails with contact data, etc.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks

    JB

Another WordPress contact form builder plugin that can do lot of things and probably better than gravity forms IMHO is FormBerry ( http://www.formberry.com ) this contact form is a beast. they’ve included digital signature, google map, google analytics, nonces logic and more. It also supports leading autoresponders via API OAuth authentication and API key integration.
