5. Designer not releasing your domain name.
You might want to change your providers; however, your previous designer is not releasing your domain name. Unlike the other industries, web industries too have sharks, but remember your web designer must have booked your domain on your behalf; hence he at no circumstance can create problems for you. You can claim this anytime and own it. If things are not properly documented between you and your previous designer, this can prove a disaster for your website. However, it is unusual these days to have things in written document; hence in no way your designer can fool you with this cyber squatting offence.
6. Allowing your nephew can bring a website disaster.
Your nephew want to work on your website and since you don’t want to upset him hence give all the authority to manage it. The result you lost everything leading to a fatal accident. He is a novice and not an expert in anyway, so has a great chance to chaos everything while taking care of your website. So with due respect to him you shouldn’t be allowing this to happen otherwise will not be able to avoid the disaster coming on your way. To be at the safer side, just allow him to manage the content part with a proper content management system rather than allowing him to handle things which he is not competent of handling it.
