Karol Bak was born in 1961 in Kolo, Poland. From 1984 to 1989 he studied at the State School of Fine Arts (now ASP) in Poznan, at the Graphic Art Department.
As you will see below, the main theme of his paintings is a women’s beauty. Much of his works were inspired by mythology. Karol’s works combine the following subject cycles as: “Sailing-ship”, “Dialogs”, “Cocoons”, “Aureoles”, “Four elements”, “Judyta and Salome”. While focusing on easel painting and drawing, he currently lives and works in Poznan, Poland. Bak’s paintings are currently displayed on the following exhibitions:
- Stewart Gallery in Gdansk.
- Gallery of SD.
- WZ Gallery in Warsaw.
- Go Gallery – Amsterdam, Netherlands.
- Rainbird Fine Art Gallery – London, U.K.
- Polart – Krefeld, Huts, Germany.
