4. Set Reminders
If you’re using an online task management tool or calendar, most will have a reminders feature included. You can set reminders for minutes, hours or even days in advance; it’s best to set them a few hours before your desired deadline for the day. Setting reminders and receiving alerts via email, SMS or popups ensure that you will not forget any tasks that need to be done. If you’re using a written outline, there are many online services just for setting reminders and receiving alerts. Once you receive an alert, be sure to act on it so that you will stay on schedule.
