Andrew A. Weissmann is an American attorney and professor who served as an Assistant United States Attorney between 1991 and 2002. He succeeded Valerie E. Caproni and preceded James A. Baker in the prosecutorial office.
Weissmann became a subject of massive media coverage during his tenure as Assistant United States Attorney. He’s credited for prosecuting high-profile organized crime cases.
