For centuries, becoming an “inventor” has been a hard gig to crack. Complexities relating to financing, engineering, distribution, and legalities have stood in the way of brilliant people executing on their great ideas. Quirky aims to solve this problem and help your dreams become a reality.
Product development is the heart of Quirky. Quirky brings two brand new consumer products to market each week, by enabling a fluid conversation between a global community and Quirky’s expert product design staff. Thousands of users can submit and vote on potential concepts. If your idea goes into production, Quirky will share their revenue directly with you.
So far, as of September 2012, 223 products have been developed, 188 retail partnerships have been made and there are over 255k inventors. You are more than welcome to join the growing community and take part. What we love most about Quirky is that they are promoting creative problem solving and rewarding people for it. How cool is that?

Metal Cordies
Metal Cordies allows you to keep cables on the table! It’s no surprise that Cordies is beautiful. People love displaying it on their desks! So we took it one step further and made a high-end version that matches the modern aesthetic. Metal Cordies is made of sleek metal with black accents.
Broom Groomer
The Broom Groomer is a step-on dustpan with added functionality that makes sweeping easier. Rubber “teeth” on the back of the dustpan let you quickly and easily comb out dust bunnies from your broom’s bristles, while a smooth rubber “lip” on the front keeps the dustpan flush with the floor so nothing slips through the cracks.
Thor
Thor is a collapsible double-blade ice scraper, designed to let you use both hands for more leverage when scraping off your icy windshield.
