Not long after Cuomo graduated from Fordham University School of Law, he began working as a lawyer on Wall Street. However, after being named one of People’s magazine’s “Most Beautiful People” in 1997, he decided to quit the jurisprudence world and venture into journalism. A wise choice, some would say, seeing as he excelled like he was born to do so in this genre.
In 1997, he started his journalism career with the CNBC show “Equal Time.”He began his career as a co-host before joining Fox Files as a reporter. Cuomo joined ABC in 2006. During his time there, Cuomo also maintained a website named “Cuomo On The Case,” which featured two weekly digital episodes. The Real Deal and Focus on Faith were the names of these two programs.

His first assignment for CNN was to cover the February 2013 Nor’easter. Subsequently, he started hosting his show, Cuomo Prime Time, in 2018. Cuomo was also quite famous for his active bantering with the United States’ former President, Donald Trump.

Lessons from the Life of Chris Cuomo
A Good Reputation Is A Good Heritage
It is not enough to be hardworking and diligent. Discipline and integrity also play a front-line role in ensuring that you become successful and an even more critical role in maintaining that level of success.
Chris Cuomo got involved in Andrew Cuomo’s political mess and further ruined his reputation after a sexual misconduct allegation by a former colleague. Even as a well-seasoned journalist, this is a significant blot on his reputation.
Be Diligent In All That You Do
“I believe that ‘advocacy journalism’ is not an oxymoron. If that means that I’m going to disrupt the cable, partisan fracas of obsession over what this means from left and right, then so be it. I will be disruptive of it.” – Chris Cuomo
Chris Cuomo was well known for reporting about people other journalists might not write about due to their political statuses. An example of this kind of person was Donald Trump, the former President of the United States.
Chris Cuomo diligently performed his job as a reporter, never being biased and, to the best of our knowledge, never scared to report the truth.
