Chris Sacca was born on May 12, 1975, in Lockport, New York, United States, to Gerald Sacca and Katherine Sacca. His father was an attorney whereas his mother was a professor at SUNY Buffalo State.
There’s little information on Chris Sacca’s early education. But after presumably earning his high school diploma, Sacca joined Georgetown University’s The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Sacca mostly spent his semesters abroad. He studied at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador, and the University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. He also attended Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, before eventually graduating in 1997 cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service.

Career Information
Chris Sacca started his first company while still attending law school. He reportedly invested a portion of his student loan into the startup. However, the venture failed to take off and Sacca used the remainder of the funds to begin trading on the stock market in 1998. He quickly became lucky on the stock market and managed to convert his $10,000 – $20,000 investment into $12 million by 2000.
But like many investors during this period, Chris Sacca suddenly became bankrupt following the stock market crash. He had a negative balance of $400 million. He negotiated to have the balance reduced to $2.125 million, which he had repaid by early 2005.
