Working at home, in a cubicle, or at a café all have their own perks. Working at home allows you the freedom to not have to leave the house, a cubicle helps you to focus on your work, and a café allows private work time in a relaxing environment, plus coffee.
However, there are also downsides to these as well: at home, you may succumb to lazy behavior, and in a cubicle one can become antisocial. A café may have all the resources you need, but you may feel it necessary to buy something every time you work.
A co-working space, however, solves all of these problems. Why, you may ask?
Lockers
Many co-working spaces give workers access to lockers. These lockers can be used to store all of your supplies or related work overnight and continue right where you left off in the morning.
This is especially helpful for those who use public transport and don’t want to have to carry a heavy load all the time when they could easily save the effort.
Work in a high quality space
Many co-working spaces are made with high quality facilities and often offer computers for you to use. Electrical sockets are available for all devices such as your laptop, cellphone, tablet, etc. Chairs make workers feel extremely comfortable, so you can work for long hours at a time.
Meeting new people

An office space often has a distraction-free environment, but it also isn’t nearly as lonely as a cubicle space, for example. Friendships or business interactions are often made at co-working spaces, making it ideal for new relationships to be made all around.
Work harder
Chances are if you are surrounded by people who are working just as hard as you, you will work harder too.
No distractions
At home, you could be distracted by television, going to bed, etc. If you have deliberately taken the time to work at a co-working space, most likely you will be determined to get the job done, and as quickly as possible, in order to get back home.
Great meeting place

If you are already working on a project with multiple people, a co-working space is a great place to meet. Often tables are set up quite similarly to long tables in large corporate office buildings, and stations have outlets for everyone to plug in their computers and devices.
Be surrounded by like-minded people
If you go use a co-working space, it doesn’t mean you have to network, but being surrounded by like-minded people can feed into your work ethic. Many co-working spaces are separated by interests. Pick the perfect one for just the inspiration you need.
More chances to learn
Quite a number of co-working spaces have many events that cater to the interests of the people that attend, such as presentations, lectures, and panels. Not only can you get your work done, but you can also expand your knowledge and make you even better at what you do.
Potential romance

Although the main concept of co-working spaces is to provide the best sort of working space for you to get your work done, you will often meet so many people, and perhaps just the right sort of person you would like to date.
At least you can trust that the individual is hard working, and will often have similar interests as you (especially if you work in a co-working space that has been specialized in this way).
Materials
Many co-working spaces have a wide variety of materials you can use, including printing paper, scissors, and more. If you do not own these items, not only will you avoid having to buy them, but you can also save in the future for not having to buy more (as in the case of printing paper).
Free or cheaper internet

Similar to cafes like Starbucks, a large number of co-working spaces have free (or at least cheap) internet costs. If this is an expense you only use for work, a co-working space would solve this for you right away.
Plus, the internet speed is much better that a coffee shop where everybody leaches off of the same wireless router.
It’s the perfect hybrid
Working in a cubicle can be isolating, and working at home or at the café can be distracting. At a co-working space you can have the best of both worlds, and where there’s the best of both worlds, awesome things can happen.
As you can see, there are many reasons why co-working spaces are superior to conventional working methods. They are growing in popularity every day.
If you find yourself being too distracted or too sick of feeling like you have to purchase coffee to work in a café, or tired of the loneliness that comes with cubicle work, a co-working space can be just the solution you are looking for.
