Early Life and Career Information

Born March 13, 1998, to Maggie Harlow and Brian Harlow, Jackman was raised on a ranch. His mother was a businesswoman, and his father a rancher. He moved from Shelbyville to Louisville with his family and started rapping at 12.
Since he was a young boy, Harlow has been a big fan of the medium. He and his friends would often record tracks using a guitar hero microphone. They were so into it that they made a CD of some of their best flows and sold it at their middle school. Harlow got his hands on a decent microphone once he was in the seventh grade and released his first mixtape, called “Extra Credit.” At this point, he took on his first moniker, “Mr. Harlow.”
Harlow formed his collective, “Private Garden,” after high school and released his first mixtape under the brand, called “18.” Private Garden comprises well-known Louisseville rappers and producers. Harlow coasted along through the years that followed, showcasing phenomenal performances on local concerts and touring a decent amount to promote mixtapes released at the time.
Harlow moved to Atlanta at some point in his career and worked at the Georgia State University cafeteria to cover his living cost. At this time, he was introduced to DJ Drama and Don Cannon. He was signed to their label in August 2018, and two years later, he released his hit single, “What’s Poppin.”
Harlow worked hard to get where he is today, and all of his hard work has paid off. There is a refinement to his rap that shines true in his songs, and all his listens and views are well-deserved. “What’s Poppin” steadily climbed the US Billboard 100 and peaked at number 2, thanks in part to its popularity on Tik Tok and YouTube. The song got so popular that he released a remix featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne.
Harlow didn’t slow down during this time and used his momentum to release his first studio album called “That’s What They All Say.” He also later on featured in Lil Nas X’s hit single, “Industry Baby,” which hit number 1 on the Billboard 100.
Jack Harlow’s Net Worth

Harlow has been working hard since his late High School days. As such, he has churned out several hit singles, mixtapes, and a successful Studio album. He has also gone on many tours in that time. His grind has been rewarded, chalking up his net worth to a well-earned $5 Million.
Harlow also dabbles in philanthropy, donating to a few Louisville-based organizations, including AMPED, the center of Women and Families, Louisville Urban League, and Metro United Way. A great rapper with a big heart.
Lessons from the Life of Jack Harlow
Do What You Love, and Everything Will Fall Into Place
You can never get tired of doing what you love. Many people make the mistake of chasing money at the cost of their passion, but one can only go so far doing something for the wrong reasons without feeling burnt out.
Jack Harlow loved rap as a kid and started his grind from an early age. It’s been 11 years since he started his journey, and it’s easy to see that the passion is still there. His music touches many people, which wouldn’t be possible if he put out half-hearted tracks.
Don’t Let the Haters Get You Down
“I’m in the business of turning skeptics to believers.” ~Jack Harlow
Not everyone will approve of your life choices. There will be people that are opposed to your ideals and actively work against you. But you can’t let that discourage you. Instead, work so hard that even your skeptics will have no choice but to acknowledge your hard work. Let it drive you, not deter you and never give up.
