Lessons Learnt from the Life of Jonah Hill
Celebrate Your Wins.
“I’m proud of ‘Moneyball.’ To me, it’s about feeling pride in a movie I made. When I’m an old man, I’ll be able to show it to my grandkids with pride. That’s all I can go for: making movies to please me.” ~Jonah Hill
In 2011, Hill starred in the sports drama film Moneyball, alongside Brad Pitt and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The film garnered positive reviews. Movie critics noted Hill’s performance as a change from his usual comedy roles and described his performance as impressive.
It is okay to pause and celebrate when we cross a milestone without considering other existent or incoming milestones. There would always be obstacles, and you might not always cross them, but that doesn’t matter. You achieved something; celebrate it. Take an entire day off if you have to, and revel in your big win.
Health is Wealth
“I run and do many push-ups and eat healthily.” ~Jonah Hill
Hill attended the 2011 ESPN ESPY Awards, embodying a much slimmer physique, having lost significant weight. He later explained that he consulted a fitness trainer and a nutritionist and changed his diet to mainly sushi. It just goes to show that regardless of your economic standing, health should remain a priority.
