Who is Peyton List?
Peyton List started as a child model, modeling for tween magazines and companies at age four. She made her acting debut in 2008 in the movie “27 Dresses.” From then on, she became more interested in acting.
Peyton is best known for her role in the Disney film series “Jessie.” Her character, “Emma Ross,” was the eldest and only biological child of socialites, Morgan Ross and Christina Ross. She’s the typical affluent child: girly and fashionable with a little bit of sass. She also displays an intellectual edge over other characters in the series, a quality that many show viewers love. List’s spot-on delivery of her character in “Jessie” led her to be invited on other Disney shows such as “I Didn’t Do It” and “Austin and Ally.”
Although Peyton List is known for her work as a model and in film, the alabaster actress puts out some music from time to time. In 2018, List released a single called “Liar Liar.” Then she released “Don’t Cry,” and “Dance Till We Die” in 2019. This paired nicely with her appearance on Little Mix’s hit single, “Only You.”
If you’ve experienced worldwide success firsthand, you’ll know that it takes twice the amount of effort to maintain the success than it took to earn it in the first place. Despite the ups and downs in her career, Peyton List is one of those child stars who has managed to carve out her niche in Hollywood and make a name for herself.
This article explores the interesting trajectory of List’s career so far: her modeling history, acting repertoire, and how she has managed to bank a whopping $7 million as her net worth.

Lessons From the Life of Peyton List
Get Out Your Comfort Zone
Peyton List said once in an interview that she loves to play characters that challenge her as an actor. One look at her life would tell you that she walks the talk. The much-loved Hollywood Star has constantly taken roles and opportunities outside her comfort zone. This attributes to how successful she is today.
Eyes on the Ball
Attaining success early on in life can be a blessing and a curse. With early success comes the temptation to relax and be complacent. Additionally, when you’re young, without any heavy responsibilities, and you have loads of money on top of that, it’s really difficult not to feel like you’ve made it in life. Peyton List truly has the right kind of people around her. Since she got in the game in 2008, it has been only up from there. Her ability to remain focused on her career goals is something we can all learn from.
Live Within Your Means
When asked how she’s managed to have a lot of money to her name, List admits that she’s not much of a spender. This philosophy is something many young people need to learn and imbibe. Having trendy clothes and shoes is cool, but not when you’re breaking the bank to obtain them. If you can barely afford that bag, get something cheaper. There’s nothing cool about having nice things and being broke.
