Early Life and Career Information
Porsha Dianne Williams was born to Diane and Hosea Williams II in Atlanta, Georgia, both of whom were self-employed. She has a brother, Hosea, taking after his grandfather’s name, and a half-sister, Lauren Williams.
Her grandfather, Reverend Hosea Williams I, was a respectable civil rights leader, an ordained minister, and a politician. He was also a contemporary of the legendary Martin Luther King, Jr.
Porsha Williams attended high school at Southwest Dekalb High School, Decatur, Georgia. Afterward, she furthered her studies at the American Intercontinental University, Schaumburg, Illinois, where she earned a degree in Business Information Technology.
After completing her education, Porsha started edging toward the entertainment industry. In 2005, she made her first appearance in a music video to pave the way for herself in the modeling industry.
In May 2011, Porsha married Kordell Stewart, a former NFL star. The wedding was glamorous, and the TV series “Platinum Weddings” broadcast the wedding. As a result of their union, she became the stepmother to Kordell’s son, Syre, from his previous relationship.
