Rachael Ray is undeniably one of the most humble celebrity chefs. Ray’s humility is evident in her complete disinterest in a life of glitz and glamor.
2. It’s not always about the money
While many celebrities delight in having more money in their accounts, Rachael Ray claims that she isn’t interested in knowing how wealthy she is. In a previous interview, Ray said “I have no idea if there’s $4 in my pocket or $400. I never ask about it. That’s why I have bankers. I don’t want to know anything at all about what I’ve got or what I don’t. It’s never motivated me. It never will.”
3. Be true to yourself
Ray is always authentic. Her unwillingness to adopt a different public persona is one of the reasons that endears her to her fans.
Famous Quotes by Rachael Ray
• Good food and a warm kitchen are what makes a house a home. I always tried to make my home like my mother’s, because Mom was magnificent at stretching a buck when it came to decorating and food. Like a true Italian, she valued beautification in every area of her life, and I try to do the same.
• Having a job is not a privilege, it is a gift. And it’s one to be absolutely cherished.
• Laugh when you feel like crying. Keep an open mind, open eyes and an open spirit.
• Never be a food snob. Learn from everyone you meet – the fish guy at your market, the lady at the local diner, farmers, cheese makers. Ask questions, try everything and eat up!
• Whatever it is you want to do, take a job in that field. You will learn by experience and, slow and steady, you’ll get it done!
