Saweetie’s Career
Although she started releasing EP’s in 2018, Saweetie’s rapping career began in 2012, posting short rap covers on her Instagram account. Her most famous clip was her rapping to the beat of Khia’s ‘My Neck, My Back’. This beat and rap style would evolve into her first song, ‘Icy Girl’.

The song was hugely popular, and reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was so popular that It was later remixed with rappers DaBaby, Jack Harlow, and Post Malone.
