Steve Harvey was born Broderick Stephen Harvey on January 17, 1957, in Welch, West Virginia, to Jesse Harvey and Eloise Vera. Harvey graduate from Glenville High School in 1987. After graduating from high school, he proceeded to Kent State University and then West Virginia University.
