Travis Landon Barker, popularly known as Travis Barker, is an American actor, composer, and musician who first became famous while playing as a drummer for The Aquabats between 1996 and 1998. While touring with The Aquabats, Travis was asked to stand in for the blink-182’s drummer Scott Raynor who was often absent. Eventually, Travis left his old band and joined blink-182 fully in 1988.
Asides from being a phenomenal drummer, Travis also starred in the MTV reality series Meet The Barkers. He is currently developing an unscripted reality series titled Inked and Iced. However, a premiere date has not been announced yet.
Recently, Travis’s love life has been under the radar of gossip columns after he and Kourtney Kardashian announced their relationship in February 2021. The pair got engaged the same year after dating for a few months.

Early Life And Career Information
On November 14, 1975, Travis Barker was born as the youngest child of Randy and Gloria Barker in Fontana, California, USA. Like many famous musically gifted celebrities, Travis’ love and passion for music began when he was much younger.
He received his first drum kit from his mother when he was four and began drum lessons a year after. Asides from learning how to play the drums, Travis also learned to play the trumpet and the piano and briefly tried singing.
Before Travis began his freshman year, his mother, Gloria Barker, died. Before she died, she encouraged her son to follow his dreams and continue doing what he loved. While in high school, Travis followed his mother’s words by joining the marching band at Fontana High School. This helped him gain a lot of experience as a performer.
After graduating from high school, Travis worked as a trash man in Laguna Beach but still kept his passion alive by playing in punk rock bands Snot and Feeble. During this time, he met Chad Larson, the co-founder of The Aquabats. His connection with Larson helped him become a member of the band, and he was nicknamed “Baron Von Tito.”
In 1998, The Aquabats went on tour with two other bands—Primus and blink-182. During this time, he was often asked to fill in for blink-182’s drummer, Scott Reynor. Raynor left blink-182 halfway through the tour.
The pioneering members of the band, Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, asked Travis to become a full-time member, and he agreed. The trio became one of the biggest pop-punk bands as blink-182’s third studio album, Enema of the State, has sold over 15 million copies globally.
In 1999, Travis established Famous Stars and Traps (FSAS), a clothing and accessories brand which is operational to this day. In 2004, he founded the record label LaSalle.
Travis married real estate broker Melissa Kennedy in 2001. However, they got divorced in 2002. In 2004, Travis married Shanna Moakler. They were married for two years when Travis filed for a divorce. Though the pair managed to settle their differences and got back together twice, they eventually split in 2008 after having two children together.
Tragedy struck in 2008 when Travis tried to travel out of South Carolina via air. The plane crashed shortly after take-off. As such, Travis suffered third-degree burns, had to undergo 26 surgeries, and battled PTSD for several years.
In 2021, Travis and Kourtney Kardashian announced their romantic relationship and got engaged the same year. For the first time in thirteen years, with the help of his fiancé, Travis was able to overcome his PTSD by traveling via air.
