Travis Landon Barker, popularly known as Travis Barker, is an American actor, composer, and musician who first became famous while playing as a drummer for The Aquabats between 1996 and 1998. While touring with The Aquabats, Travis was asked to stand in for the blink-182’s drummer Scott Raynor who was often absent. Eventually, Travis left his old band and joined blink-182 fully in 1988. On November 14, 1975, Travis Barker was born as the youngest child of Randy and Gloria Barker in Fontana, California, USA. Like many famous musically gifted celebrities, Travis’ love and passion for music began when he was much younger. He received his first drum kit from his mother when he was four and began drum lessons a year after. Asides from learning how to play the drums, Travis also learned to play the trumpet and the piano and briefly tried singing. Before Travis began his freshman year, his mother, Gloria Barker, died.
