What is Y2K?
Simply put, the term Y2K refers to the year 2000. The term became popularized through the controversial ‘Y2K bug’, which people assumed meant the end of the world at the turn of the millennium.
Overall, the term Y2K just refers to a period in time when digital technology was on the rise, pop culture was changing, and being ‘groovy’ was kind of back in style. Each of the typefaces that you see below takes inspiration from that.
