Industrial design is not an easy task and takes hundreds if not thousands hours of planning. Knock Down-Cloth Rack by Jakob Jørgensen
Designer Jakob Jørgensen crafted this simple yet elegant wooden cloth rack. “The basic idea in Knock down-Cloth Rack is a simple wedge assembly, that can attach a horizontal element to a vertical load-bearing element.”
Scatter Shelf by Nendo
The scatter shelf is composed of 5mm black acrylic shelves in a grid form, stacked in three layers and slightly displaced. The resulting shelving unit is not only structurally strong but creates a visual effect in which objects placed on the shelves appear as though caught in a spider‘s web when viewed from the front. When viewed on an angle, the glossy acrylic face creates a series of reflections within the shelves, making the ‘opaque’ acrylic appear to be transparent. The diffused reflections caused by the surfaces’ shine and form also separates and scatters the view behind the shelving unit, creating a completely kaleidoscopic effect.
DeskBox | The Small & Space Smart Wall-mounted Desk
The Deskbox is a practical small table/cabinet that is hung onto a wall and it is ideal for settings where there is little space available for furniture. It is an elegant small work place, which is excellent for working on a laptop for instance, and it can be retracted to form a closed box, half the size of the table top.
This design from Raw Edges originated from the project Arco Okay 2011, where Arco challenged ten designers to develop new ideas, based on the production possibilities of the company. Desk Box is based on the parallel mechanism from earlier sewing boxes, which Arco used to produce a long time ago.

It is an elite presidential designed for those who love to set themselves apart from the crowd, which recognises the importance of having an object of design in their office, not a simple desk, but an article of furniture which leaves visitors and guests pleasantly surprised and breathless.
Drawer Shelf by Keiji Ashizawa Design
What if a furniture transformed itself to adjust to different needs, rather than standing still? Keiji Ashizawa Design answered this question beautifully with a simple concept! The hardware that makes the sliding motion possible was designed to be functionally efficient and visually minimal, by combining bent and straight plates. Whereas in a normal drawer design the rails tend to be hidden, here we made them simple enough that we wanted to expose them. The same rails used for the drawers are also used for the box units to slide against each other.
