Early Life
Daniel Levy was born on August 9, 1983, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine. His father is a Canadian actor, whereas his mother is a homemaker.
Levy attended North Toronto Collegiate Institute for his high school education. After graduating from high school, he pursued film production at York University and Ryerson University.

Levy began his television career in 2006 as one of the original co-hosts on MTV Live, the now-defunct MTV Canada flagship series. He went on to co-host MTV Canada’s The After Show as well as its various incarnations, including The Hills: The After Show and The City: Live After Show.
