This year’s Super Bowl was the most watched television show in U.S. history. Boasting 111.3 million viewers, this year’s game narrowly beat last year’s record of just over 111 million. This must mean that a lot of people like football, right?  Wrong.  People don’t watch the Super Bowl solely for the football. While most of us avoid pesky commercials all year long by utilizing the skip-ahead button on our Tivos, the Super Bowl is known for offering viewers the year’s most entertaining commercials. Here are this year’s top rated:

1. Doritos – “Man’s Best Friend”

Doritos as payment for silence about Fluffy’s disappearance.  It could happen to anyone.

2. Bud Light – “Here Weego”

Every man’s dream: Not only does this man have his best friend, he also as a personal beer maid.

3. Doritos – “Sling Baby”

If only this grandma and baby ragtag team had been around when we were on the playground…

4. Kia – “A Dream Car.  For Real Life.”

Silly sandman.  Women’s dream man isn’t a man on horseback; it’s a man in a Kia.

5. M&Ms – “Just My Shell”

The red M&M’s fist pump is epic.

6. Sketchers – “Go Run”

Greyhounds don’t have anything on a bulldog with a pair of Sketchers…

7. Volkswagen – “The Dog Strikes Back”

Who needs the Biggest Loser when this dog is around?

8. Audi – “Vampire Party”

Audi just brought a whole new meaning to the term, “party crasher.”

9. Chevrolet – “Silverado”

Just in case you didn’t hear about the Mayan’s 2012 prediction

10. Honda CRV – “Matthew’s Day Off”

It’s good to see that Ferris Bueller never changed.
