I often laugh at companies who try to create an ad that is either too confusing or just has so much going on. As readers we’re bombarded with ads almost everywhere we go.
- While we watch TV, we see ads.
- While we browse the Internet, we see all sorts of ads.
- While we read a magazine, we see print ads.
- While we drive, we see billboard ads and hear radio ads.
- While walk in a city we see car brands, commercial vehicles, restaurants, signs, and etc.
Ads are everywhere. People have a built-in mechanism to ignore advertising, however when they see something clever, they appreciate the idea behind the ad.
Even if it’s a product they will never actually buy, they still smile. They may even take a picture and share it with others whom might actually buy the product. And to take it one step further, they might actually create this sort of article.
Why did I collect the following adverts? Because I thought they were very memorable, well thought of, and minimalistic. I think the following ads should be witnessed by everybody who works in the advertising field.
There is no reason they shouldn’t. If you”re in advertising, you clearly understand that your clients expect results. If the ad you made for them sucks you will never hear a call back from them.
