Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy is an American entrepreneur and politician.
Ramaswamy is best known for founding the pharmaceutical company Roivant Sciences in 2014. He previously served as an investment partner at a hedge fund prior to founding Roivant. The Harvard College and Yale Law School graduate is also credited for co-founding an investment company known as Strive Asset Management.
In February 2023, Vivek Ramaswamy declared that he would contest for the 2024 United States presidential election under the Republican Party. His candidature has received support from various quarters, including President Donald Trump.

Little was known about Apoorva Tewari before becoming associated with her entrepreneur and politician husband. However, Tewari is a distinguished medic with impressive credentials. She currently works as an assistant professor and surgeon in Ohio.
As a surgeon, Tewari specializes in treating voice disorders and swallowing disorders of cancer survivors. Her job has been instrumental in accelerating recovery for cancer survivors, particularly those who’ve undergone surgical operations.

Apoorva Tewari was born in 1989 in Columbus, Ohio. Her exact birthdate is unknown. However, she’s 34 years as of 2023, four years younger than her husband who was born on August 9, 1985.

Apoorva Tewari went to Horace Mann School in the Bronx for her high school education.

As already mentioned, Apoorva Tewari is an associate professor and surgeon. She serves in both capacities in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Ohio State University. Her specialty as a laryngologist entails treating voice and swallowing disorders in recovering cancer patients through surgical and/or medical interventions. She’s also trained in treating ear and nose disorders, including those not necessarily cancer-related.
Apoorva Tewari’s laryngological profession has seen her serve on the medical advisory board of the National Foundation of Swallow Disorders as well as on several committees for the Dysphagia Research Society. Tewari also works as a researcher. That’s perfectly understandable considering the nature of her professional engagements. She has contributed to the Solove Research Institute, The James Cancer Hospital, among many oncological research centers.
Tewari may not have won any physical accolades. However, her efforts were widely lauded during the COVID-19 pandemic when she opted to treat patients despite having recently given birth to her eldest child. Her selfless act came at a price as she ended up contracting the virus and had to isolate herself.
During the period Tewari was down with COVID-19, her husband took over all parental roles. Fortunately, her condition wasn’t life-threatening and she recovered pretty soon.

Vivek Ramaswamy and Apoorva Tewari met while they were both students at Yale University. Ramaswamy was then a law student while Tewari was a medicine student.
The two hit it off straight away. They dated for several months before finally tying the knot on May 31, 2015.
